President / Director / EP
Rob O'Sullivan has the innate ability to capture story and form a seamless blend of documentary, narrative, and commercial production motivations. His military and professional experience, as a US Army Officer and corporate executive, shows through in his highly focused and disciplined approach to his production techniques.
A former Vice President of Advanced Services at Comcast, Rob utilizes strong management, leadership, and collaboration skills to efficiently deliver compelling content. Rob is currently directing the feature documentary, None More American: Army Football in Post 9/11 America, an in-depth look at 12 young athletes who chose the harder path of service and sacrifice in the Global War on Terror, and Heart of Victory: The Campbell Brothers, produced in conjunction with the NFL and the US Paralympic team.
Rob is also producing the development and production of the documentary digital series, Legacies Alive, profiling the Legacy Challenges of Mike Viti (7,000km+ walk across America) and Chris Ring (currently swimming the length of the Mississippi River) as they use their reach to support and honor America’s fallen soldiers and the families they left behind. He has directed numerous commercial and corporate projects, leveraging industry talent from Los Angeles and New York to serve national clients.

Todd Hickey is a Los Angeles-based, East Coast-raised director, cinematographer, and writer. He has over fifteen years of experience shooting documentaries, music videos and narratives. Hickey made his directing debut with Take Downs and Falls (2010) – a feature-length documentary exemplifying his dedication to capturing the celebration of the human spirit through cinéma vérité. From documentaries and music videos to commercials, Hickey is highly regarded for his flair in connecting authenticity with documentary cast and actors. Hickey is an intuitive, professional artisan with the rare ability to balance the need for big picture vision with technical details required to execute quality productions.
Hickey lensed the award-winning documentaries Freestyle, the Art of Rhyme (Director, Kevin Fitzgerald) and Sonny Boy (Director, Soleil Moon-Frye); penned the story for feature film Seeking Justice (Director, Ronald Donaldson; starring Nicolas Cage, January Jones and Guy Pearce).
Recently, Hickey was the DP on Main Gate’s upcoming feature length documentary None More American: Army Football post 9/11. Currently, he is developing his next feature documentary directing effort, which focuses on stories and people, at the intersection of race, class, and sports in America. He is also developing a documentary series about the organization, Legacies Alive and working on a couple scripted projects, for television and the big screen.
Head of Production
Patti is a producer and a performer. After earning a BA in Musical Theatre and performing in film and on stage for 17 years, she transitioned into producing, bringing all her skills as an Barrymore Award nominated actor, singer, costume designer, director, and manager with her. For the past three years, Patti has further honed her producing skills by earning her Master’s degree in Media Production from Temple University and working with some of the top cinematographers, directors, and producers in the industry. As a graduate student, she managed film, television and social action projects including television pilot Odd Jobs, short film The Thrill of Being Followed, and promo videos for a Chesapeake Bay conservation project. For the past 4 years, Patti has worked as production manager for Main Gate Media House, managing projects for large pharmaceutical clients and universities, among others. She now serves as Head of Production for Main Gate.
Director of Photography
Tim Spellman has been working as a camera and lighting technician for the past 20 years. His body of work in feature films, commercials, television, music videos and documentaries have made him a well rounded and versatile filmmaker. Tim's experience with studio shows such as Project Runway and Top Chef, which he was nominated three times for outstanding Cinematography for Reality programming, as well as his location work on shows such as American Pickers and his work on numerous national commercial spots have given him wide range in his ability to light and shoot on location as well as in the studio environment.
As a documentary filmmaker, Tim has worked on a number sports and music docs as well as the Oscar nominated, Capturing the Freidmans. Tim's ability to work at any budget and his project management skills make him an asset to any project he is involved in.
Director / Cinematographer / Producer
Curtis Albucher has dedicated himself to world of cinematography, editing and producing, with a special focus on player profiles and in depth story telling within the world of sports. This documentary style of filmmaking led to a sports Emmy and he has had multiple films win awards through festival circuits. Curtis has collaborated with a variety of commercial, editorial and documentary clients to create truly unique stories told through the art of cinema. Behind the lens Curtis is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for extreme sports. With about a decade worth of production experience, Curtis is always looking for the next adventure.
Director of Photography
Born and raised on the West Coast, Adam is a cameraman versed in several types of work. Ranging from motion pictures to television commercials to live action sporting events, like the Super Bowl. Adam’s narrative viewpoint puts a unique perspective on sporting events and other traditionally non-narrative content. His firm belief that everyone has their own story, and connecting the audiences to those characters within the stories is of the greatest importance when capturing with a camera.
Editor and Production Coordinator
Gabriella is a Philadelphia based editor, writer, and director. Well known for her resourcefulness and creative eye, her proficiencies range across various aspects of production. Gabriella’s past work includes a multitude of web series and music videos, short films such as Broke, Child No More, and Our Weekly Binge, and feature films such as 9-Ball, Within the Woods of Undead County, and most recently, None More American. Her tireless work ethic, attention to detail, passion for the work, and ability to quickly develop impactful cuts and edits make her an indispensable member of the Main Gate team.
